Spring Has Sprung

It's practice that is to be accomplished in stages ~ Sri Swama Satchidananda

Our yoga practice is a preparation of the soil. Yama, niyama, asana, pranayama, and pratyahara turn the earth in anticipation of Spring. Our non-attachment is to wait with expectation, knowing not how the seed grows or what fruit may ripen, but simply waiting with a heartfelt hope. So we look towards, and work for, a deep inner binding with greater mystery, but we know that our effort will only take us so far. The fruits of our hope will be harvested only after the plowing, planting, watering, and weeding of our individual practices. While we must treasure our final destination in our hearts, it makes little sense to look with specific expectations far beyond today’s work.
